For this coming year I would like to explore the use of discussion boards for single-author texts in a college composition course (either developmental or intermediate/advanced course).
I would like to explore how I might use technology to develop student academic writing. Particularly, I am interested in using discussion boards and blogs to expand student opportunities to summarize arguments, take a stance, and support their positions.
I am interested in blogging for my classroom, but that's if my district will lift certain internet restrictions. I am also interested in discussion boards, which I maybe allowed to use.
I am still interested in using blogs in the classroom, as well as learning about a paperless classroom and using e-portfolio's.
